Geeky, proud and passionate
We’re a diverse group of healthcare experts, business strategists and creative thinkers, but we all have one thing in common – our relentless curiosity. It’s our genuine desire to learn and an absolute fascination with all things health that enables us to deliver work as innovative as the products we’re marketing.
Darren is the CEO at Create. Darren has since become an expert commentator on consumer and healthcare related business and marketing.
Always keen to push healthcare businesses in fresh and exciting directions, Darren looks forward to the new opportunities that healthcare marketing will bring.

I believe in the power of insightful and imaginative ideas to drive change. The work I oversee and create is always beautifully simple, emotive and human, no matter how complex the subject.
Innately curious about the world and health, my focus is injecting purposeful creativity into healthcare communications – so that our client’s brands and businesses thrive.

Out of work it’s all about travelling, food, drink and long walks, not necessarily in that order.
As Technical Director, my mission is to deliver innovative answers to complex questions. With experience in solutions architecture, software development & responsive design, I lead Create’s tech team in delivering enterprise-grade web, desktop & mobile apps, using best-in-class frameworks & tools.
Helen gained her knowledge in a busy integrated agency across a wide range of projects, with a strong focus on all things digital. Recently involved in rebranding a global pharmaceutical company and having managed patient recruitment for clinical trials for a number of years, Helen is well-suited to quickly grasping medical & health concepts and providing organised and insightful client services.
Although fascinated with digital projects, having started her career in Future Publishing working on videogame magazine titles, Helen still loves to work on as many beautiful print pieces as possible and believes that a bit of foil blocking or a spot UV goes a long way.
Anna learned the ropes of client services early on during the start of her career in London. A Bristolian at heart, she moved back to her beloved hometown and now does an excellent job looking after our clients. Anna gets a buzz out of seeing a project from the planning stage right the way through to the creative impact it achieves and loves to be part of work that genuinely changes healthcare for the better. Out of work it’s all about shopping, wining and dining as well as supporting the Bristol Rugby team.
Steve brings the studio many years’ experience as an artworker, and has worked with a variety of high profile clients, such as Sky and Spire Healthcare. Not only does Steve’s great eye for detail bring the highest degree of professionalism to the work we do for our clients, but his knowledge of print means we can translate ‘slugs’ and ‘bleeds’ into plain English for the client.
Working in healthcare gives what I do purpose. Growing up, I always wanted to work in healthcare – to make people’s lives better somehow. Unfortunately, I learned pretty quickly that classroom science wasn’t my forte. My expertise is rather more artistic. I may not be discovering miracle cures, but I’m helping to bring to market the products that do. And I think that’s pretty darn cool.
Having graduated with a first class honours degree in Multimedia Computing, George has a passion for web-based technologies, and all things tech related.
During his time at Create, he has channelled his knowledge into web development, focusing on the latest web based technologies surrounding HTML, CSS, PHP and JQuery. Working at Create has given him a multitude of development opportunities, and he enjoys working on challenging projects.
A usual working day for George consists of problem solving and working closely with both the account and digital team to create attractive, and complex websites and online tools.
After studying advertising at uni, I entered the real world as a London adgrad before becoming an Art Director. I now specialise in coming up with cool ideas and bringing them to life. As a naturally curious person, I love immersing myself in different brands and industries and learning something new each time. I’m fascinated by the world of health. When I was younger, I wanted to be either a pathologist or a creative – Create Health ticks both interests.

Previously Head of Cashiers at an assurance company and owner of a residential care home for many years, I have been looking after Create’s finances since 2008. I’m also in charge of wages, which makes me one of our most popular team members. When I’m not hiding behind piles of paper on my desk, I’m spending time with my family and dogs.
